Craft of the week

This past weekend and most of this week. I have been working on bead bracelets for the DD's garage sale. They want to make money to buy Polly Pockets. : ) I finished 60 bead bracelets from just the stuff in my stash. EEKK ! Now if I can just keep the girls from claiming them as their own before the sale.

My Dog...

was once white. Then I put flea and tick stuff on her and she went and rolled in the mud. I had to wait 24 hours before I could take her to the groomer, At over 70 pounds she is too big to pick up and put in the tub. So I let her dry off before I Locked her in the kitchen. I took her to the groomer the next day so they could deal with her. I was not amused. The daughters of doom thought the whole thing was hilarious. : )

We're Back !!!

from vacation that is. We spent just a little over a week in and around Denver, Colorado. Visiting lots of museums and hiking the mountains. I have over 400 pictures and have put the best in my webshots album

http://community.webshots.com/user/gwenalynne

the girls really liked the mountains but DD#1 is not at all thrilled when we told her we planned on camping the next time we go back. She thinks roughing it is a hotel with just a small swimming pool. LOL
We had dinner the last night with a college friend of mine and her family. They invited us out to their ranch on the way home for breakfast and to let the girls ride horses. It was great to see her and the girls were really surprised when I told them I have known Donna longer than I've known their Dad.

I stitched a little, not as much as I thought I would because where I needed to sit to watch the girls in the pool there wasn't enough light. So here is what I was able to complete on Nautical Fence. I did manage to read a lot though.

Now I am going through the mountain of laundry, trying hard not to get a headache from the noise of the guys working on the houses siding, yugg the rot that they have found and trying not to step of the dogs who seem to think if I am out of their sight I will leave them for another week. : ) Silly dogs that won't happen until the first of August. LOL

I hope that your weeks have gone well. Until next time.

What a fun week !

Who would have thought that spending 5 morning with 14 4 year olds could be sooo much fun, but I had a great time this past week being a shepherd for DD#2s Vacation Bible School group. We did need to get creative from Wednesday on since between Wednesday afternoon and Saturday Morning we received over 7.5 inches of rain. But the kiddos seemed to have fun anyway.
Here is Melissa on the last day making a candy Reef. The color of the day was Red. Because "Bob is Very Red!"

Here is a picture of the "Rain rain rain that came Down Down Down" and made a big puddle out of the playground.

I promised you a picture of my June Letter "L" and here it is. I would like to say I am about 1/4 done but I'm not sure I'm quite there. over one on 32 Fairy Dust by SMF petti point with two strands of Vicki Clayton Silk

I also started Nautical Fence this weekend. I couldn't help myself. I love these designs.

Now to clean house and do loads and loads of laundry. Today is the first day I have gotten up and my back hasn't hurt from the start. I need to get done as much as possible before it kicks back in.

Until Next Time TTFN !
