My Mom just called and her boyfriend is in need of prayers again. They were going to the hospital to pick up his medical release forms from his appendectomy when he triped on an uneven place in the sidewalk, tried to regain his balance but then fell into the side of the hospital hitting his head. They gave him a CT scan and discovered he has a crack in his neck. He now needs to be imbolized because any jaring at all will complete the break and it is so high it will affect his breathing. His name is Owen.
Any and all prayers and good thoughts sent to him will be greatly appreciated. Thank you !

Crafts !!!
Good Morning everyone, WW news first, after being off and eating what I wanted for 2 weeks, I showed a 2 lb gain on Monday. I was surprised it wasn't more. LOL We spent Palm Sunday weekend in Amana Iowa with DH's family, eatting wonderful meals and most dangerous to me, pastries. HHHMMMMM OOOOHHHH pastries. (Please use your best Homer Simpsons voice :o)
Now to the title of the entry. Last weekend to keep the girls out of DH's hair while he wasn't feeling well, we turned the dinning room into a craft room and made fabric pictures.
Here is S's a "Spring Quilt"
M's is titled "A Summer Picnic"
And mine is "A Starry Night"
We also spent a long lovely time in the Public Library's book store looking and buying craft books for future inspiration.
Last night I finished S's afghan about 11:00pm. I took it into her room and covered her up. She rolled over smiled and her sleep. I know she was asleep because she didn't wake up with I took this picture. LOL
Next is M's afghan, she has choosen her colors, I just need to find enough of the yarn. I also have two patterns to stitch for TGOS and the Christmas ornament to design. Anyone got a suggestion on what I should do this year ? Inspiration just hasn't hit me yet.
Gotta get M ready for school. Until next time take care !

Another Mile Stone
I received my 10% goal key chain today at WW and I also received my 25 lb charm for my key chain. It hard for me to believe that I have lost 25 lbs. 4 1/2 months ago it look like an impossible task. Today I am looking forward to tell you I've reached 30 lbs. I also know I will feel much better putting on a swimsuit this coming weekend. : )
M had a tea party this past week with 3 of her friends from pre-school. I call it Ladies who Lunch with Kittens.
Since I last wrote, I've finished 5 more dish cloths, 6 pairs of earring for my neighbor and I stitched 5 smalls, that went off to the finisher to go with the current blackwork sampler in The Gift of Stitching. I've designed and gotten approval on the piece for October and have almost finished the desiging for the November piece, another teaching sampler. Hopefully the cold weather is coming to an end so I can once again sit on the deck and stitch while the girls play outside.
Until next time stay warm, and safe.
