Autumn Smalls

I just can't seem to get enough of small Autumn/Halloween designs. Here are two more than I have finished, and I have pulled a stack of others to work on.

Finally a moment...

This is a happier version of what they looked like when sick

DD#1 is now back to school, and really having a good time.
DD#2 is very impatiently waiting for hers to start after Labor Day.
I have finally gotten a chance to catch up on sleep, a little any way.
I finished a few small projects the last couple of weeks. The 4 ornaments for The Gift of Stitching's Christmas ornament issue.

Also my July SAL with Goldie 4th of July theme

My August SAL with Goldie Fall/Halloween Theme

Much to DH's dismay, I have my stitching spot now firmly placed infront of the South windows of our bedroom. : )

I thought you might like to see a picture of my Mom with all of her Grandchildren. We really had a wonderful time with her. Only the husbands were missing. All three of them. LOL I'm not sure but I think it had something to do with the number of children all in one place. I can't wait till Christmas when we can all get back together again.

Until next time, I wish you health and happiness.

They are both well now

thank God !! and Thank yo all for your well wishes. We ended up taking DD#1 to Children's Mercy twice for IV's and medicine and once for test. She told all of her friends that she got three holes in three days. The Day that we knew DD#1 was on the mend DD#2 started running a fever. We started pushing the liquids on her as soon as we could so she was only sick for parts of 3 days instead of 7.

I am really tired now and hope I will finally get to sleep the night through. Wish me luck. : )

a brief update

after spending all of last week at my Mom's visiting with my Sister and her kids and my sister in law and her kids. We are now home and

DD#1 is very very sick. We spent most of the last two nights at Children's Mercy trying to keep her hydrated. She has had a fever, vomiting and a sever headache right behind her eyes.

We are currently at home and hoping to spend the entire night here. She is till throwing up despite anti-nausa drugs but not as often. We had managed to keep a little pedialite in her tonight. Wish us luck that we are able to make it through th night here at home.

I will update you as soon as she is well.

Lots of pictures.

Hello All. Here's the news. Last weekend we made a flying trip to Minneapolis for the baptisum of our Great Niece Miss Emma Stok.

Here she is with DD#1 right before Church. It was a great time. we had so much fun with DH's side of the family and I wish we had had more time. Alas No.
Here is Emma again with her Proud parents.

Because we drove 14 hours in less than a 2 day period, I was able to finish Harry Potter 7. I love that series and look forward to any other information JK Rowlings wants to put out about Harryverse. I also finished three little small designs. Two Halloween flip flops for my Halloween SAL and a Dragon Dreams Chrismyth that I found hiding mostly finished.

Frankenstein's Flip Flops

Spider Flip Flops and

Chrismyth Salamander

I also did a little stash shopping this week. The first picture is stash I ordered from Shakespears Peddler. I really Really wanted the garden fence and the others are because I couldn't let it be lonely in the envelope. The second picture is of the stash I found on sale yesterday at our LNS when I went to pick up for the fibers for my The Gift of Stitching Christmas Ornaments. Speaking of which the last picture is of the fibers and fabric that will eventually be the Christmas ornaments that will be published in the December issue of The Gift of Stitching. School starts in two weeks, Yippee more time to stitch. : )

I hope you are all well. Till next time.
