It is about time to put the DDs to bed so I will give you a quick run down of my last few days.
Mom arrived on Friday, and stayed until Monday we had a REALLY nice and relaxing weekend.
On Saturday I finished An Autumn Pincushion, I just need the black bird button.
I also finished a 4th of July I spy bracelet for my sister and earrings.
Sunday I hurt my back while sneezing, I think. Antartica is starting to sound better all the time, I hate allergies. I am still dealing with the pain. Yuck.
Monday was the start of Vacation Bible School, I am a shepherd for DD#2's pre-k group. There are 14 kiddos and two high school helpers. We have had a lot of fun, I just wish my motrin would last longer.
I have stitched some more on my pettipoint letter "L" but I don't have a picture right now. Yesterday I received my Fabric from Picture This Plus and the buttons I need to start "Nautical Fence" by Raise the roof. This will be my third of six fences. I just LOVE them.
Until next time take care and stay safe.

Another BIG day for DD#1
DD#1 received her orange belt yesterday in Tae Kwon Do. She tested the Saturday that Goldie was here. Master Johnson was also my instructor 10 years ago.
DD#2 told me last night she wanted to take Kae Twon Do, yes she pronounces it like that, as soon as she turns 5 in September.

There were two big events in DD#1 life this week. She had her hair cut off for Locks of Love on Saturday and her 9th Birthday on Tuesday. I have to many pictures to post here so I have created webshots albums

My Mom comes tomorrow to continue celebrating DDs birthday. I have lots and lots of cleaning to do today. So no stitching today.

A busy week
I decided on Sunday afternoon the 10th the girls and I needed to go to Iowa and see my sister and her kids, so we loaded up the van and were on our way the next morning. We had a really really good time just hanging out with my sister and her kids, playing in the yard, chasing the new kitten, yes we took one of the kittens from next door to her house to be a farm cat, and watching my Nephew play baseball.
Every year I take one of her kids out for lunch and shopping just by ourselves. This year it was my Nephews turn, he is the 3rd of 4. We went to red lobster for lunch and then to Mernards. Tool heaven. : ) We bought him a bright yellow tool box and the basic tools that every young boy needs to puts around the shop with. Nothing with a really sharp edge or that needed batteries but penty of toys all the same. I didn't get a picture of him with it because as soon as he got home, he disapeard into the shop to "Work" and I went to help with the girls. I will buy him tools every year if it means I get another big hug and a loving "Thanks Aunt Lynne" like I did this time.
I finished one project on Wednesday, a color try on a My Aunts Attic pattern. One of the new waterlilies colors, Applalachia. I will use this again on something else, I realy like the colors.
I also finished my Lady Bug needlepoint last night. This is the first needlepoint I have completed in a very very long time. I think I will turn it into a bookmark.
Tomorrow is DD#1's 9th birthday, we are taking her and her two best friends for Pizza and to the Amuzement Park for the night time hours. Then they are all staying here. Wish me luck : )
Till Next time.....

What a wonderful weekend
Goldie and I had such a wonderful weekend. The photos however will have to wait until Melanie gets her copies. hehehe Goldie arrived at 1:00 Friday, we started the stash review and only stop briefly to take her car to Mazda and to have dinner with the family. After arriving back home we promply ignored everyone and went back to stash diving until a little after midnight
Saturday we ate and shopped the day away and then stitched into the early am. We went to the LNS, Hobby Lobby, Micheal's and JoAnn's with purchases at each one. Goldie managed to finish 4 different items and I managed to not finish anything : ) Next time Goldie :)
Sunday was lazy, bubble cake and making the photo book for Melanie. I tried to keep her for another day but she managed to slip out of the drive way about 11:30. A good time was had by all.
Today I am sitting at my sister's kitchen table, having driven 6 hours yesterday to spend the week here.
I hope that ya'll have a great week I will try and post pictures of our adventures next week.

"Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh."
I'm not so sure about the prankster part. : )

Weekend update
It was a very quiet weekend. I spent most of my time playing with the kids.
Catch with Melissa
and Jump and catch with Sarah.
Taking care of the kittens, which are getting bigger by the minute and very cute.
I also finished the last two snowflake ornaments and worked on Paradigm Lost. However, I need to finish frogging the big mistake I made last night.
