A busy week

I decided on Sunday afternoon the 10th the girls and I needed to go to Iowa and see my sister and her kids, so we loaded up the van and were on our way the next morning. We had a really really good time just hanging out with my sister and her kids, playing in the yard, chasing the new kitten, yes we took one of the kittens from next door to her house to be a farm cat, and watching my Nephew play baseball.

Every year I take one of her kids out for lunch and shopping just by ourselves. This year it was my Nephews turn, he is the 3rd of 4. We went to red lobster for lunch and then to Mernards. Tool heaven. : ) We bought him a bright yellow tool box and the basic tools that every young boy needs to puts around the shop with. Nothing with a really sharp edge or that needed batteries but penty of toys all the same. I didn't get a picture of him with it because as soon as he got home, he disapeard into the shop to "Work" and I went to help with the girls. I will buy him tools every year if it means I get another big hug and a loving "Thanks Aunt Lynne" like I did this time.

I finished one project on Wednesday, a color try on a My Aunts Attic pattern. One of the new waterlilies colors, Applalachia. I will use this again on something else, I realy like the colors.

I also finished my Lady Bug needlepoint last night. This is the first needlepoint I have completed in a very very long time. I think I will turn it into a bookmark.

Tomorrow is DD#1's 9th birthday, we are taking her and her two best friends for Pizza and to the Amuzement Park for the night time hours. Then they are all staying here. Wish me luck : )

Till Next time.....
