Please happy dance around the room with me, I made my 10 % weight loss goal with an extra pound and 1/2 to spare. for a total of 23.8 lbs lost WOOO HOOO !!!!! I haven't counted points in two weeks, but I have counted steps. Last week I made my 10,000 steps or above 5 of the 7 days. On day 6 I ripped the toe nail off my left big toe, it's still to sore to put in shoes. Good thing I don't mind exercising barefoot, I want to repeat that 5 days total. Now I plan on making 5 lb goals. Especially since I don't have a "Goal" weight in mind.
Things have been pretty boring around here lately. That mid winter blahs. Not much crocheting or stitching going on. I did finish the living room scrap afghan.
DD#1 likes it so much, we have to retrieve it from her room when it is needed in the living room. The only stitching I have done lately is for the magazine, so you will have to wait a while to see it.
I just finished listening to Dean Koontz "The Darkest Night of the Year" I really enjoyed this book. Not as much I as like his Odd Thomas series, but dog lover that I am, it was fun to listen to his descriptions of the looks on the dogs faces.
Gotta run, I've got steps to make up and DD#2 to pick up from pre-school. Until next time stay safe and warm.

I'm still here
And currently at 21.2 lbs lost. Yeah me !!! however I have been here for 2 1/2 weeks, le sigh. I am also only .9 lbs away from my 10 % goal. I really want to make that this next Monday. I am having the mid winter munchies. This week I have tried to kick up my exercise and get back on a good water intake, instead of just Diet Mt. Dew. Things are in a calm and steady flow here. Nothing really exciting, not so boring that I do something stupid : )
I'm still crocheting, another 6 dish clothes, and 5 pot holders. I also started a scrap afghan. Once again it is two skeins at once, is a demium blue color and the other is what ever I have left from other projects. This will stay here and be used as our throw about blanket in the living room. I'm 10 skeins into it and have at least that many more to go.
Hopefully Spring will come soon and I can get outside for a few weeks with the girls. I love taking pictures during the spring. Until next time stay warm and dry.
