I weighed in this morning and yep, I gained 1.4 lbs back. I spent the extended weekend at my Mom's and didn't eat like I should, I ate Like I always have. Also spending so many hours in the car with just the DD's, I didn't drink any water for two of those four days. Even though I thought about it I still went to my meeting today and got the "Bad" news. Then I came home and bought the stuff to make zero points soup again. I will just jump start myself and keep on keeping on.
This weekend was wonderful. Both Thursday and Sunday were great days to drive. Friday was very cloudy and cool with a constant mist, but Saturday turned out beautiful and I was able to take a couple of pictures of the girls. No you don't get to see them until I have one printed up for DH's desk. : ) but as soon as that is done I will post the pic. i am still not stitching, I don't know why but I just keep telling myself that will change as soon as we have a hard freeze.
Here is a picture from this past weekend. It is the yellow Maple tree in Mom's front yard. All of the kids had a great time jumping in these once they hit the ground.

Another Weigh In
Yesterday was my second week weigh in and I lost another 4.6 lbs for a total of 7 lbs. I feel great !!! This is the first time in a long time I have been able to loose weight. Now if I can just keep with the program this weekend when I go to visit my Mom. I just hope to not gain any more by next Monday.
On the stitching front I am still in a slump. My eyes have been blurry lately so I am going to blame it on them : ) I think it is just allergies because I just had my eyes checked less than 6 months ago.
Since I don't have any stitching to show you I thought I post another flower picture.
Enjoy !

A new look and a questions
I decided to change the look of my blog because I'm not really a color brown type of person. I love Blue !!! In all forms, but my favorite is Indigo. So I am working on finding just the right blue back ground that doesn't make it hard to read or mess up the pictures. What do you think?
Now for the question.... How do you display your collections? I am finding, as I grow older, that I have a number of small rotating collection. The main one right now is Pumpkins. I LOVE Pumpkins, and thus around Halloween Jack O' Lanterns too. I have maybe a dozen or a dozen and 1/2 different pumpkins. Some are lighted some are not, and I don't know how to display them to the best of their abilities. So I thought I would ask you.
Thank you for all of your comments they mean a lot to me. Until next time be safe and healthy.

My first weigh in
was today and I lost 2.4 lbs. I didn't think I had lost anything since my scales at home didn't show any movement. So I was very happy. Now if I can just keep this up.
I haven't been able to concentrate long enough to stitch this week. I think I was trying so hard not to snack, that I just kept myself busy and moving. So I will share with you another of my favorite photos.
DH took this for me at the Sheds Aquarium in Chicago Labor Day weekend 2006. I was rounding up the girls, who wouldn't stand still long enough for me to take the picture.

A Finish and a Start
I finished my sister's Christmas present last night. It is one of my own designs, especially for her.
I started Weight Watchers yesterday with my friend Tracy. Today has not been easy since I usually snack my way through life and I have had to measure and account for everything that goes into my system. I have to get the hang of this or she is going to kill me if my excess weight doesn't first. LOL

My Sister's Christmas Present.
Yes she knows what it is : ) she helped me design it. I thought I would just show you what I have been stitching on the last week. I still have the berries in the border and the house and pine trees at the bottom to go. I think is it turning out much better than I had hoped.
