Prayers Needed

I found out last night that a friend of mine is once again battling cancer. Two years ago Jennifer survived breast cancer shortly after giving birth to her daughter, just this week she found out the cancer is back and in her lungs and liver. Would you please pray for her and her family, She has a son, who was M's friend in pre-school, so 6 yrs old and a 3 yr old daughter. Also her husband who is a great guy and has had to deal with so much over these years.

Thanks.

I FINALLY found my little book that I write all my finished stitching/crocheting in. Updated it and came up with a total finished projects (Ok Goldie so they aren't completely finished, but the stitchings done. :o)

86 finished projects.
3 afghans
24 dish clothes (mostly gifts)
59 stitched projects.

Not bad, especially since I took a couple month break in the summer. :o)

GGGRRRR !!

My good camera. My Cannon Rebel XTi, that DH got me for my birthday, is having issues. The flash won't go up if it is down, so I pried it up and now it won't go back down very easily. Kinda like the cheap little plastic sliders don't want to mesh with the little metal grommets that slide in them. GGGRRR. So now I have to take it to Best Buy and let the Geek Squad send it off to be fixed. GGGRRR. I finally get to go on my 40th birthday trip with my BF (three years later) in APRIL and they can't guarantee that it will be back by then. GGGRRR. Luckily DH purchased the 4 year, anything goes wrong with it we will fix it. Warranty. Mainly because we have two kids and two dogs and my last little camera had Cough syrup dumped on it by a certain 6 year old. Ok it was an accident but...... GGGRRR. I think I'll go clean something, I'm too angry to stitch.

It's Cold !!!

So I guess there is nothing else to do but sit by the fire and stitch. Ok so I have been cleaning the house and using Paradigm Lost as my reward for finishing a task/room.

I finished page 8 of Paradigm Lost. only 3 pages left. It will be done this year.
Here is a picture.

I made it through the holidays without gaining any weight. I went to Weight Watchers this morning and I actually lost .2 lbs. All I wanted to do was keep it under 200 and I made it. I am now 27.4 lbs lighter than I was a little over a year ago. YEAH ME !!!!

The last two months in Pictures

I don't know where the time has gone. I came to post an updated picture of Paradigm Lost and realized it has been two months since my last post. It has mostly been filled with activities with the girls, imagine that. LOL So here is the last two months in pictures.

This is the picture I took for the Girls Yearly, "Look how big we've Grown" S is 10 and M is 6.

Here they are helping to put up the Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving.

The first week in December Chloe, our oldest dog, had a tumor removed from her jaw. She wore the cone of silence for 10 days. And wasn't happy about it.

S had three recitals in 5 days. Choir first, than piano (This if from then) then 5th grade band. She did really well at all of them.

I had a Christmas tea for three of my friends this year. Since I didn't ask them if they wanted their faces shown, I will just show you the food I made. We had a really good time.

Here are the girls ready to go to Christmas eve service. The dresses didn't last long after we came home, then was time for appetizers, PJ's and presents.

For New Years, S and I made, "Things that need to be dipped and the stuff to dip them in". Neither girl made it to midnight. Dh and I did but barely. I woke up the next morning with a full blown cold. I was really glad DH was home, since I went back to bed and slept for another 4 hours.

Updated Paradigm Lost.

I had hoped to have more done, but using a needle while sneezing and coughing is just not a wise choice for me. Until next time. Stay warm and healthy.
